What does the cabinet look like inside?

Qualitec Ready-to-Assemble Kitchen Cabinets are made from the highest quality and yet the most economical materials available. They go together easily with assembly instructions included with each order.

Countertop Buildup

Final countertop cuts should not be made until after base cabinets have been installed. This will ensure accurate measurements for the countertop. A proper fitting countertop should rest flush to the top surface of the base cabinets. To achieve proper door and drawer front clearance some countertops must be built up. Minimum 5/8" required.

1. To create countertop buildup, fasten buildup material along the front valance and back of the cabinet run. Toe Kick works well for 5/8".

2. Make sure that you allow clearance at the end of the buildup to accomodate countertop end cap.

3. Place countertop on cabinets and check to ensure that there is adequte clearance for doors and drawer fronts.

Attach countertop to buildup, using woodscrews. Be sure that you do not use screws that are too long.
